KIND WORDS FROM OUR FAMILIES
“Thank you so much for checking in and thinking of us. The meals have been such a help and they taste amazing. E’s tastebuds are a little out of sorts at the moment I wasn’t sure if any of the meals in the small portion size? She wants to eat but can only manage small portions”
“We just wanted to thank you so much for all the children’s Christmas presents. It was so kind and thoughtful of you, and very much appreciated by all the families. It was wonderful that you were able to sort the gifts from their wishes on their Santa letters, giving them an extra special surprise- Paeds Oncology Team, Kingston
“I wanted to say a massive thank you for all the support you have given us this year. The food boxes have made a huge difference to L’s and our lives. She is being more independent with her food choices and the freezer foods means she can have a varied choice and make them herself”
“M’s taste comes and goes constantly, so having these meals in our freezer not only helps us feed the family when food is such a stressful experience in our house at the moment, but also gives us opportunities to try different things with her. I cannot thank you enough”
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the surprise cookie parcel. The kids absolutely loved making gingerbread men and it was a fantastic surprise that meant a lot to us. It came at the perfect time as things have been particularly tough. It does mean the world”
“I keep meaning to say thank you. We’re waiting to make our gingerbread men that came, they are M’s favourite so she can’t wait to bake them!”
“The meals really help out, especially when I am exhausted. Today and tomorrow I am in GOSH, M having a line replacement today, and chemotherapy tomorrow. Tonight and tomorrow I am counting on those meals for dinner. Thank you very much”
“Honestly, our trips are normally full of cake and sweets to keep her happy and instead she has this smoothie, some bear claws and mini rice cakes, thank you!”
“We are truly grateful for your generosity and all the staff join me in thanking you for helping us make Christmas a little more magical for the patients in our care”
“A huge thank you for the boys Christmas gifts. J is absolutely in love with his watch and S plans to debit his new trainers this weekend. It’s such a king gesture and means a lot”
“Honestly, they’re amazing, such a life saver after a long day at the hospital. So grateful for everything you do for us.”
“We want to say a massive thank you for the delicious meals, we just have the lasagne left to try! They all went down a treat. We really enjoyed the curries and Mac n Cheese. We would love to try the cottage pie and bacon and leak pie”
‘Thank you so much for all of your support it is so much help and E absolutely loves the meals as they allow her to eat healthy and be independent”
"E is absolutely loving the meals and especially likes the cottage pie and lasagne, she said she would love something like a curry if possible."
