Louise Long

Founder & Dylan’s Mummy

Louise Long is the founder and CEO of The Dylan Strong Foundation, a charity she established in memory of her son Dylan after he lost his life to a brain tumour at the age of seven.

Following Dylan’s diagnosis in 2020, Louise experienced first-hand the reality of childhood cancer and the enormous impact it has on the whole family. She understands how quickly everyday things like cooking a healthy meal, buying food or simply finding the energy to think beyond the next hospital appointment can become overwhelming.

Those experiences became the driving force behind The Dylan Strong Foundation. Louise’s vision is simple: no family should have to face childhood cancer without practical support. Through nutritious meals, essential supplies, financial assistance and emotional support, the foundation helps ease some of the pressure so families can focus on what matters most – spending precious time together.

Alongside leading the charity, Louise is a personal trainer and functional nutritionist with a passion for educating families about the role nutrition plays in health and recovery. Everything she does is rooted in lived experience, compassion and a determination to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children with cancer and the people who love them.
